Hyper and Hypo -Thyroid Symptoms

Hyper-thyroid symptoms

  • Body feels “revved up”
  • Heart Pounding
  • Can be the result of a viral infection

 

Hyper-thyroidism is traditionally treated by disabling the thyroid gland with radiation then supplementing with thyroid hormones

Hypo-thyroid symptoms

  • Very common, many people live undiagnosed (TSH level is often within accepted parameters, even though all the classic symptoms are present)
  • Fatigue
  • Trouble losing weight
  • Sluggish gut
